Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people. (28)
وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ And We made other people inherit all this." Ad-Dukhan 44:28 ⧉ In Surah Shu'ara', it is explicitly stated that 'other people' refers to the Children of Israel. It is objected that there is no historical evidence to show that the Children of Israel ever settled again in Egypt. This objection has been rebutted in Surah Shu` ara'.
