Al-Qasas • Ayah 11 of 88 • English

وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِ قُصِّيهِ ۖ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِ عَنْ جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Translation:

And she said to his sister, "Follow him"; so she watched him from a distance while they perceived not. Al-Qasas 28:11 ^⧉

Tafsir:

Tafsir excerpt from Al-Qasas 28:7 ^⧉

وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ Al-Qasas 28:7 ^⧉ The word Wahy (inspiration) is used here in its literal meaning. It does not mean the Wahy that is peculiar to prophets. This point has already been explained under Surah Taha.
