Al-Qasas • Ayah 13 of 88 • English

فَرَدَدْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ أُمِّهِ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Translation:

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know. Al-Qasas 28:13 ^⧉

Tafsir:

Tafsir excerpt from Al-Qasas 28:7 ^⧉

وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ Al-Qasas 28:7 ^⧉ The word Wahy (inspiration) is used here in its literal meaning. It does not mean the Wahy that is peculiar to prophets. This point has already been explained under Surah Ta-Ha^⧉.
