Al-Waqi'ah • Ayah 29 of 96 • English

وَطَلْحٍ مَنْضُودٍ

Translation:

And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] Al-Waqi'ah 56:29 ^⧉

Tafsir:

وَطَلْحٍ مَّنضُودٍ (and the trees of tulh, having layers one upon the other - Al-Qasas 28:29 ^⧉). The word talh refers to 'banana tree' and mandud means 'clustered', fruits piled on top of each other as in a bunch of bananas.
