Al-Ma'arij • Ayah 30 of 44 • Anglo-Saxon English

إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ

Translation:

Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed, Al-Ma'arij 70:30 ^⧉

Tafsir:

The tafsir of this ayah is mentioned in Al-Ma'arij 70:35 ^⧉

These verses give a brief description of the qualities of two types of human beings: those who will be treated as entitled to enter Paradise and those whose deeds will cause them to be thrown into Hell on Doomsday.
