وَالَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنْشَرْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land - thus will you be brought forth - (11)
Commentary
جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا (10)
has made the earth a cradle for you meaning that the comfort provided by the earth is that of a cradle; its apparent look of being a plain floor does not negate its being spherical.
