Al-Qasas • Ayah 37 of 88 • English

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ جَاءَ بِالْهُدَىٰ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ وَمَنْ تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ

Translation:

And Moses said, "My Lord is more knowing [than we or you] of who has come with guidance from Him and to whom will be succession in the home. Indeed, wrongdoers do not succeed." Al-Qasas 28:37 ^⧉

A sermon should have high degree of eloquence

هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّي لِسَانًا (He is more fluent in his tongue - Al-Qasas 28:34 ^⧉). This verse Al-Qasas 28:34 ^⧉ points out that a high degree of oratory and eloquence is desirable for sermons and preaching, and there is no harm if one takes training in that.
