فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَاقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا

Translation:

Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition. At-Talaq 65:9 ^⧉

Tafsir:

The tafsir of this ayah is mentioned in At-Talaq 65:10 ^⧉

‘So, fear God, O men of understanding.’ This statement indicates that the fountainhead of piety (taqwa) is the mind. Only by using his wisdom and consciousness does a man achieve that status which is called (taqwa) in the Islamic law.
