هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُو كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا أَسْلَفَتْ ۚ وَرُدُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلَاهُمُ الْحَقِّ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
Hunalika tabloo kullu nafsin ma aslafat waruddoo ila Allahi mawlahumu alhaqqi wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona (30)
قال الله تعالى : ( هنالك تبلو ) أي : تختبر . وقيل : معناه : تعلم وتقف عليه ، وقرأ حمزة والكسائي ويعقوب : " تتلو " بتاءين ، أي : تقرأ ، ( كل نفس ) صحيفتها . وقيل : معناه تتبع كل نفس ( ما أسلفت ) ما قدمت من خير أو شر . وقيل : معناه تعاين ، ( وردوا إلى الله ) إلى حكمه فيتفرد فيهم بالحكم ، ( مولاهم الحق ) الذي يتولى ويملك أمورهم : فإن قيل : أليس قد قال : " وأن الكافرين لا مولى لهم ( محمد - 11 ) ؟ قيل : المولى هناك بمعنى الناصر ، وهاهنا بمعنى : المالك ، ( وضل عنهم ) زال عنهم وبطل ، ( ما كانوا يفترون ) في الدنيا من التكذيب .
In that great place each soul will be informed of what it did in the life of the world. Then the idolaters will return to their true Lord, Who is Allah, Who has power over their reckoning, and the intercession of idols that they made up will be non-existent.
