فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُمْ بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Falamma alqaw qala moosa ma jitum bihi alssihru inna Allaha sayubtiluhu inna Allaha la yuslihu AAamala almufsideena (81)
( فلما ألقوا قال موسى ما جئتم به السحر ) قرأ أبو عمرو وأبو جعفر : " آلسحر " بالمد على الاستفهام ، وقرأ الآخرون بلا مد ، يدل عليه قراءة ابن مسعود " ما جئتم به سحر " بغير الألف واللام . ( إن الله سيبطله إن الله لا يصلح عمل المفسدين ) .
When they threw down their magical spells, Moses (peace be upon him) said to them: What you have shown is magic. Allah will cause what you have done to be nothing and of no effect. You cause corruption on earth by means of your magic and Allah does not set right the action of a person who causes corruption.
