قَالُوا أَتَعْجَبِينَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۖ رَحْمَتُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Qaloo ataAAjabeena min amri Allahi rahmatu Allahi wabarakatuhu AAalaykum ahla albayti innahu hameedun majeedun (73)
( قالوا ) يعني الملائكة ، ( أتعجبين من أمر الله ) معناه : لا تعجبي من أمر الله ، فإن الله عز وجل إذا أراد شيئا كان . ( رحمة الله وبركاته عليكم أهل البيت ) أي : بيت إبراهيم عليه السلام . قيل : هذا على معنى الدعاء من الملائكة ، وقيل : معنى الخير والرحمة والنعمة . والبركات جمع البركة ، وهي ثبوت الخير . وفيه دليل على أن الأزواج من أهل البيت .
( إنه حميد مجيد ) فالحميد : المحمود في أفعاله ، والمجيد : الكريم ، وأصل المجد الرفعة .
When Sarah was amazed at the news, the angels asked her if she was amazed by Allah’s decree and command, because people like her know that Allah is able to do such things. ‘The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of Abraham!’ they said. Allah is praised in His attributes and actions, the Possessor of Glory and the Honourable.
