يَا بَنِيَّ اذْهَبُوا فَتَحَسَّسُوا مِنْ يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَا يَيْأَسُ مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
Ya baniyya ithhaboo fatahassasoo min yoosufa waakheehi wala tayasoo min rawhi Allahi innahu la yayasu min rawhi Allahi illa alqawmu alkafiroona (87)
قوله عز وجل : ( يا بني اذهبوا فتحسسوا ) تخبروا واطلبوا الخبر ( من يوسف وأخيه ) والتحسس بالحاء والجيم لا يبعد أحدهما من الآخر ، إلا أن التحسس بالحاء في الخير وبالجيم في الشر والتحسس هو طلب الشيء بالحاسة . قال ابن عباس : معناه التمسوا ( ولا تيئسوا ) ولا تقنطوا ( من روح الله ) أي : من رحمة الله ، وقيل : من فرج الله . ( إنه لا ييئس من روح الله إلا القوم الكافرون ).
Their father told them to go and find out news about Joseph and his brother, and not to despair of relief from Allah and His release of His servants. Without doubt, only disbelieving people despair of relief from Allah and His release of His servants, because they do not know the greatness of Allah’s power and His subtle favour upon His servants.
