قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنْظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

Qala rabbi faanthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona ⁽³⁶⁾

Tafsir

( قال رب فأنظرني إلى يوم يبعثون ) أراد الخبيث أن لا يموت .

Iblis said: O Lord, allow me to live and do not cause me to die until the day that Adam and his offspring are resurrected.
