وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَنْ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
Wanabbihum AAan dayfi ibraheema (51)
قوله تعالى : ( ونبئهم عن ضيف إبراهيم ) أي : عن أضيافه . والضيف : اسم يقع على الواحد والاثنين والجمع والمذكر والمؤنث ، وهم الملائكة الذين أرسلهم الله تعالى ليبشروا إبراهيم عليه السلام بالولد ، ويهلكوا قوم لوط .
And inform them of the story of the guests of Ibrahim (peace be with him) that were angels who came to give him glad tidings of a child, and news of the destructions of the people of Lot.
