فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُوا حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
Faasri biahlika biqitAAin mina allayli waittabiAA adbarahum wala yaltafit minkum ahadun waimdoo haythu tumaroona (65)
( فأسر بأهلك بقطع من الليل واتبع أدبارهم ) أي : سر خلفهم ( ولا يلتفت منكم أحد ) حتى لا يرتاعوا من العذاب إذا نزل بقومهم .
وقيل : جعل الله ذلك علامة لمن ينجو من آل لوط .
( وامضوا حيث تؤمرون ) قال ابن عباس : يعني الشام . وقال مقاتل : يعني زغر وقيل : الأردن .
So travel with your family after a portion of the night has passed. Travel behind them and let none of you look back to see what happens to them. Proceed to where Allah has instructed you to go.
