شَاكِرًا لِأَنْعُمِهِ ۚ اجْتَبَاهُ وَهَدَاهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

Shakiran lianAAumihi ijtabahu wahadahu ila siratin mustaqeemin ⁽¹²¹⁾

Tafsir

( شاكرا لأنعمه اجتباه ) اختاره ، ( وهداه إلى صراط مستقيم ) أي : إلى دين الحق .

He was thankful for the favours that Allah had given him. Allah had selected Him to be a prophet and had guided him to the true religion of Islam.
