قُلِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثُوا ۖ لَهُ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ أَبْصِرْ بِهِ وَأَسْمِعْ ۚ مَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًا
Quli Allahu aAAlamu bima labithoo lahu ghaybu alssamawati waalardi absir bihi waasmiAA ma lahum min doonihi min waliyyin wala yushriku fee hukmihi ahadan (26)
( قل الله أعلم بما لبثوا ) روي عن علي أنه قال : عند أهل الكتاب أنهم لبثوا ثلاث مائة شمسية والله تعالى ذكر ثلاث مائة قمرية والتفاوت بين الشمسية والقمرية في كل مائة سنة ثلاث سنين فيكون في " ثلاث مائة " تسع سنين فلذلك قال : " وازدادوا تسعا " .
( له غيب السماوات والأرض ) فالغيب ما يغيب عن إدراك والله عز وجل لا يغيب عن إدراكه شيء .
( أبصر به وأسمع ) أي : ما أبصر الله بكل موجود وأسمعه لكل مسموع . أي : لا يغيب عن سمعه وبصره شيء .
( ما لهم ) أي : ما لأهل السموات والأرض ( من دونه ) أي من دون الله ( من ولي ) ناصر ( ولا يشرك في حكمه أحدا ) قرأ ابن عامر ويعقوب : " ولا تشرك " بالتاء على المخاطبة والنهي وقرأ الآخرون بالياء أي : لا يشرك الله في حكمه أحدا . وقيل : " الحكم " هنا علم الغيب أي : لا يشرك في علم غيبه أحدا .
Say - O Messenger: Allah knows best about how long they remained in the cave and He has told us about the period they remained there. No statement can be considered after Allah’s, may He be glorified. To Him alone, may He be glorified, belongs everything hidden in the heavens and on earth. He created and knows all of it. How well He sees! May He be glorified! He sees everything. How well He hears! He hears everything. They have no one to take charge of their matter besides Him. He does not share His rule with anyone. He alone passes judgement.
