يَا أَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّا
Ya abati la taAAbudi alshshaytana inna alshshaytana kana lilrrahmani AAasiyyan (44)
( يا أبت لا تعبد الشيطان ) لا تطعه فيما يزين لك من الكفر والشرك ( إن الشيطان كان للرحمن عصيا ) عاصيا " كان " بمعنى الحال أي : هو كذلك .
O father, do not worship the satan by obeying him. The satan is disobedient to the Merciful, as He ordered him to prostrate to Adam but he did not prostrate.
