رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَاعْبُدْهُ وَاصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَادَتِهِ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا
Rabbu alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma faoAAbudhu waistabir liAAibadatihi hal taAAlamu lahu samiyyan (65)
( رب السماوات والأرض وما بينهما فاعبده واصطبر لعبادته ) أي : اصبر على أمره ونهيه ( هل تعلم له سميا ) قال ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما : مثلا .
وقال الكلبي : هل تعلم أحدا يسمى " الله " غيره ؟
He is the Creator of the heavens and the Creator of the earth and their Owner and Controller. He is also the Creator, Owner and Controller of everything in between them so worship Him alone, for He alone is deserving of worship. Remain firm in worshipping Him, for He has no likeness or partner who shares this worship with Him.
