لَا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا
La yamlikoona alshshafaAAata illa mani ittakhatha AAinda alrrahmani AAahdan (87)
( لا يملكون الشفاعة إلا من اتخذ عند الرحمن عهدا ) يعني لا إله إلا الله .
وقيل : معناه لا يشفع الشافعون إلا لمن اتخذ عند الرحمن عهدا يعني : المؤمنين كقوله : " لا يشفعون إلا لمن ارتضى " ( الأنبياء : 28 ) .
وقيل : لا يشفع إلا من شهد أن لا إله إلا الله أي لا يشفع إلا المؤمن .
These disbelievers will not have the power to intercede for one another, except for those who had taken a pledge with Allah in the world by having faith in Him and in His messengers.
