يَوْمَئِذٍ لَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُ قَوْلًا
Yawmaithin la tanfaAAu alshshafaAAatu illa man athina lahu alrrahmanu waradiya lahu qawlan (109)
( يومئذ لا تنفع الشفاعة ) يعني : لا تنفع الشفاعة أحدا من الناس ، ( إلا من أذن له الرحمن ) يعني إلا من أذن له أن يشفع ، ( ورضي له قولا ) يعني : ورضي قوله ، قال ابن عباس ، يعني : قال لا إله إلا الله وهذا يدل على أنه لا يشفع غير المؤمن .
On this great day, no intercession from any intercessor will benefit, except one whom Allah allows to intercede and Allah is pleased with what he says in intercession.
