وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُ وَمَا هَدَىٰ
Waadalla firAAawnu qawmahu wama hada (79)
( وأضل فرعون قومه وما هدى ) أي : ما أرشدهم ، وهذا تكذيب لفرعون في قوله : " وما أهديكم إلا سبيل الرشاد " ( غافر : 29 ) . .
And Pharaoh misguided his people by making disbelief appear good to them and by deceiving them through falsehood, and he did not direct them towards the path of guidance.
