وَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَاجِعُونَ
WataqattaAAoo amrahum baynahum kullun ilayna rajiAAoona (93)
( وتقطعوا أمرهم بينهم ) أي اختلفوا في الدين فصاروا فرقا وأحزابا قال الكلبي : [ فرقوا دينهم بينهم ] يلعن بعضهم بعضا ويتبرأ بعضهم من بعض والتقطع هاهنا بمعنى التقطيع ( كل إلينا راجعون ) فنجزيهم بأعمالهم
The people differed: some were monotheists, idolaters, disbelievers and believers. All these different types of people will return to Me alone on the Day of Judgment, when I shall requit them according to their deeds.
