وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَيُؤْمِنُوا بِهِ فَتُخْبِتَ لَهُ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
WaliyaAAlama allatheena ootoo alAAilma annahu alhaqqu min rabbika fayuminoo bihi fatukhbita lahu quloobuhum wainna Allaha lahadi allatheena amanoo ila siratin mustaqeemin (54)
وليعلم الذين أوتوا العلم ) التوحيد والقرآن . وقال السدي : التصديق بنسخ الله تعالى ، ( أنه ) يعني : أن الذي أحكم الله من آيات القرآن هو ( الحق من ربك فيؤمنوا به ) أي : يعتقدوا أنه من الله ، ( فتخبت له قلوبهم ) أي : فتسكن إليه قلوبهم ، ( وإن الله لهاد الذين آمنوا إلى صراط مستقيم ) أي : طريق قويم هو الإسلام .
And so that those whom Allah gave knowledge are convinced that the Qur’ān revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the truth Allah revealed to you, O Messenger, thus increasing their faith in it and so that their hearts submit and humble themselves before it. Allah is the Guide of those who have faith toward the straight path of truth which contains no crookedness, as a reward for their submitting to it.
