قُلْ لِمَنِ الْأَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

Qul limani alardu waman feeha in kuntum taAAlamoona ⁽⁸⁴⁾

Tafsir

( قل ) يا محمد مجيبا لهم ، يعني أهل مكة ، ( لمن الأرض ومن فيها ) من الخلق ، ( إن كنتم تعلمون ) خالقها ومالكها .

O Messenger, say to these disbelievers who deny the resurrection: “Who does this earth and those on it belong to, if you have any knowledge?”
