فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَا إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَاهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا
Faqulna ithhaba ila alqawmi allatheena kaththaboo biayatina fadammarnahum tadmeeran (36)
( فقلنا اذهبا إلى القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا ) يعني القبط ، ( فدمرناهم ) فيه إضمار ، أي : فكذبوهما فدمرناهم ، ( تدميرا ) أهلكناهم إهلاكا .
So I said to them: Go, both of you, to Pharaoh and his people who denied My signs. So they fulfilled our instruction and went to them and invited them to Allah’s Oneness, but they denied them and I then destroyed them completely on account of their denial.
