وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا
Waallatheena itha thukkiroo biayati rabbihim lam yakhirroo AAalayha summan waAAumyanan (73)
( والذين إذا ذكروا بآيات ربهم لم يخروا ) لم يقعوا ولم يسقطوا ، ( عليها صما وعميانا ) كأنهم صم عمي ، بل يسمعون ما يذكرون به فيفهمونه ويرون الحق فيه فيتبعونه . قال القتيبي لم يتغافلوا عنها ، كأنهم صم لم يسمعوها وعمي لم يروها .
Those who, when reminded of Allah’s signs that are heard and seen, do not turn a deaf ear to the signs that are heard and do not turn a blind eye to the signs that are seen.
