فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ

Faalqa moosa AAasahu faitha hiya talqafu ma yafikoona ⁽⁴⁵⁾

Tafsir

"فألقى موسى عصاه فإذا هي تلقف ما يأفكون".

So Moses threw his staff and it turned into a snake, nullifying whatever magic they were casting over the people.
