فَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Fakharaja minha khaifan yataraqqabu qala rabbi najjinee mina alqawmi alththalimeena (21)
( فخرج منها ) موسى ، ( خائفا يترقب ) أي : ينتظر الطلب ، ( قال رب نجني من القوم الظالمين ) الكافرين ، وفي القصة : أن فرعون بعث في طلبه حين أخبر بهربه فقال اركبوا ثنيات الطريق فإنه لا يعرف كيف الطريق .
So Moses acted according to the instruction of the well-wishing man and left the city in fear and anxiety over what may happen. He said, beseeching his Lord, “O my Lord! save me from the oppressive nation, so that they cannot harm me.”
