وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَمِنْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الْكَافِرُونَ
Wakathalika anzalna ilayka alkitaba faallatheena ataynahumu alkitaba yuminoona bihi wamin haolai man yuminu bihi wama yajhadu biayatina illa alkafiroona (47)
قوله تعالى : ) ( وكذلك ) أي : كما أنزلنا إليهم الكتب ( أنزلنا إليك الكتاب فالذين آتيناهم الكتاب يؤمنون به ) يعني : مؤمني أهل الكتاب ، عبد الله بن سلام وأصحابه ) ( ومن هؤلاء ) يعني : أهل مكة ، ( من يؤمن به ) وهم مؤمنوا أهل مكة ( وما يجحد بآياتنا إلا الكافرون ) ، وذلك أن اليهود عرفوا أن محمدا نبي ، والقرآن حق ، فجحدوا . قال قتادة : الجحود إنما يكون بعد المعرفة .
And just as I revealed the Books upon those before you, I revealed the Qur’ān upon you. Some of those who read the Torah, such as Abdullah ibn as Salam believe in the Qur’ān as well, because of what they find of its description in their books. And from among the idolaters are also those who believe in this Qur’ān. Only those who are habituated to rejection and denial disbelieve in My signs, despite their clarity.
