لَنْ يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّا أَذًى ۖ وَإِنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ
Lan yadurrookum illa athan wain yuqatilookum yuwallookumu aladbara thumma la yunsaroona (111)
قوله تعالى : ( لن يضروكم إلا أذى ) قال مقاتل : إن رؤوس اليهود عمدوا إلى من آمن منهم عبد الله بن سلام وأصحابه فآذوهم فأنزل الله تعالى : ( لن يضروكم إلا أذى ) يعني لا يضروكم أيها المؤمنون هؤلاء اليهود إلا أذى باللسان : وعيدا وطعنا وقيل : كلمة كفر تتأذون بها ( وإن يقاتلوكم يولوكم الأدبار ) منهزمين ، ( ثم لا ينصرون ) بل يكون لكم النصر عليهم .
If they are against you they will not harm you, O believers, in your belief, or in yourselves, except through their words: criticising your faith and making fun of you and so on. Also, if they fight you they will flee from you in defeat, and will never be victorious over you.
