قُلْ إِنْ تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Qul in tukhfoo ma fee sudoorikum aw tubdoohu yaAAlamhu Allahu wayaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waAllahu AAala kulli shayin qadeerun (29)
( قل إن تخفوا ما في صدوركم ) أي قلوبكم من مودة الكفار ( أو تبدوه ) موالاتهم قولا وفعلا ( يعلمه الله ) وقال الكلبي : إن تسروا ما في قلوبكم لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من التكذيب أو تظهروه ، بحربه وقتاله ، يعلمه الله ويحفظه عليكم حتى يجازيكم به ثم قال : ( ويعلم ) رفع على الاستئناف ( ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ) يعني إذا كان لا يخفى عليه شيء في السماوات ولا في الأرض فكيف تخفى عليه موالاتكم الكفار وميلكم إليهم بالقلب؟ ( والله على كل شيء قدير )
Say, O Prophet: Whether you hide within your hearts that which Allah has forbidden, such as befriending the disbelievers, or you reveal the same, Allah knows about it. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He has power over everything and nothing is outside His ability.
