وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Wabashsharnahu biishaqa nabiyyan mina alssaliheena (112)
( وبشرناه بإسحاق نبيا من الصالحين ) فمن جعل الذبيح إسماعيل قال : بشره بعد هذه القصة بإسحاق نبيا جزاء لطاعته ، ومن جعل الذبيح إسحاق قال : بشر إبراهيم بنبوة إسحاق . رواه عكرمة عن ابن عباس . قال : بشر به مرتين حين ولد وحين نبئ .
And I gave him glad tidings of another son who would become a Prophet and a pious servant: he was Isaac. It was another reward for his obedience to Allah by resolving to slaughter his only son, Ishmael.
