قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدْتَ لَتُرْدِينِ

Qala taAllahi in kidta laturdeeni ⁽⁵⁶⁾

Tafsir

( قال ) له : ( تالله إن كدت لتردين ) والله لقد كدت أن تهلكني . قال مقاتل : والله لقد كدت أن تغويني ، ومن أغوى إنسانا فقد أهلكه .

He will say: “O my companion! By Allah, you were close to dooming me to the hellfire by calling me towards disbelief and denying the resurrection!”
