إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ

Innaha shajaratun takhruju fee asli aljaheemi ⁽⁶⁴⁾

Tafsir

فقال الله تعالى : ( إنها شجرة تخرج في أصل الجحيم ) قعر النار ، قال الحسن : أصلها في قعر جهنم وأغصانها ترتفع إلى دركاتها .

Indeed, the tree of Zaqqūm is a disgusting tree, and is one that comes out of the depth of hell.
