كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
Kitabun anzalnahu ilayka mubarakun liyaddabbaroo ayatihi waliyatathakkara oloo alalbabi (29)
( كتاب أنزلناه إليك ) أي : هذا الكتاب أنزلناه إليك ، ) ( مبارك ) كثير خيره ونفعه ، ) ( ليدبروا ) أي : ليتدبروا ، ) ( آياته ) وليتفكروا فيها . قرأ أبو جعفر : " لتدبروا " بتاء واحدة وتخفيف الدال ، قال الحسن : تدبر آياته : اتباعه ) ( وليتذكر ) ليتعظ ، ( أولو الألباب ) .
This Qur’ān is a book I revealed to you, O Prophet, abundant in good and benefit. I revealed it so that people ponder over its verses and contemplate its meanings, and so that the people of enlightened superior intellect take lessons from it.
