هَٰذَا عَطَاؤُنَا فَامْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Hatha AAataona faomnun aw amsik bighayri hisabin (39)
( هذا عطاؤنا ) أي قلنا له هذا عطاؤنا ( فامنن أو أمسك بغير حساب ) المن : هو الإحسان إلى من لا يستثنيه ، معناه : أعط من شئت وأمسك عمن شئت بغير حساب لا حرج عليك فيما أعطيت وفيما أمسكت .
قال الحسن : ما أنعم الله على أحد نعمة إلا عليه تبعة إلا سليمان فإنه إن أعطى أجر ، وإن لم يعط لم يكن عليه تبعة .
وقال مقاتل : هذا في أمر الشياطين ، يعني : خل من شئت منهم ، وأمسك من شئت في وثاقك ، لا تبعة عليك فيما تتعاطاه .
“O Solomon, this is My gift which I granted you in response to what you asked of Me. So give whom you want and stop from whom you want, as I will not take you to account in your giving or holding back”.
