قَالَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِي مِنْ نَارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِنْ طِينٍ

Qala ana khayrun minhu khalaqtanee min narin wakhalaqtahu min teenin ⁽⁷⁶⁾

Tafsir

" قال أنا خير منه خلقتني من نار وخلقته من طين "

Iblis said: “I am better than Adam. You created me from fire and you created him from clay. And fire is a more noble substance than clay”.
