أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ أَفَأَنْتَ تُنْقِذُ مَنْ فِي النَّارِ
Afaman haqqa AAalayhi kalimatu alAAathabi afaanta tunqithu man fee alnnari (19)
( أفمن حق عليه كلمة العذاب ) قال ابن عباس - رضي الله عنهما - : من سبق في علم الله أنه من أهل النار . وقيل : كلمة العذاب قوله : " لأملأن جهنم " ، وقيل : قوله : " هؤلاء في النار ولا أبالي " . ( أفأنت تنقذ من في النار ) أي : لا تقدر عليه . قال ابن عباس : يريد أبا لهب وولده .
Those for whom the word of punishment is binding due to their persistence in their disbelief and deviation, you, O Messenger, have no means to guide them. Are you, O Messenger, able to rescue such people from the Fire?
