مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا
Man kana yureedu thawaba alddunya faAAinda Allahi thawabu alddunya waalakhirati wakana Allahu sameeAAan baseeran (134)
( من كان يريد ثواب الدنيا فعند الله ثواب الدنيا والآخرة ) يريد من كان يريد بعمله عرضا من الدنيا ولا يريد بها الله عز وجل آتاه الله من عرض الدنيا أو دفع عنه فيها ما أراد الله ، وليس له في الآخرة من ثواب ، ومن أراد بعمله ثواب الآخرة آتاه الله من الدنيا ما أحب وجزاه الجنة في الآخرة : ( وكان الله سميعا بصيرا )
Whoever from amongst you, O people, intends to only gain the reward of this world by their actions, they should know that with Allah is the reward of this world and the Afterlife, and they should seek the reward of them both from Him. Allah hears your statements and knows your actions, and He will reward you for them.
