وَبِكُفْرِهِمْ وَقَوْلِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا

Wabikufrihim waqawlihim AAala maryama buhtanan AAatheeman ⁽¹⁵⁶⁾

Tafsir

( وبكفرهم وقولهم على مريم بهتانا عظيما ) حين رموها بالزنا .

And I distanced them from My mercy because they disbelieved and because they falsely accused Mary of fornication.
