وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee alardi wama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin (31)
( وما أنتم بمعجزين ) بفائتين ، ( في الأرض ) هربا يعني لا تعجزونني حيثما كنتم ولا تسبقونني ، ( وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصير ) .
You are not able to save yourselves from your Lord by running away when He wants to punish you. You do not have anyone besides Him to take charge of your affairs nor anyone to help you by removing the punishment if He intends it for you.
