وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ إِنَّنِي بَرَاءٌ مِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ

Waith qala ibraheemu liabeehi waqawmihi innanee baraon mimma taAAbudoona ⁽²⁶⁾

Tafsir

قوله - عز وجل - : ( وإذ قال إبراهيم لأبيه وقومه إنني براء ) أي بريء ، ولا يثنى البراء ولا يجمع ولا يؤنث ؛ لأنه مصدر وضع موضع النعت . ( مما تعبدون ) .

O Messenger! Remember when Abraham said to his father and his people: “Indeed, I am innocent of the idols you worship instead of Allah.”
