فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Falamma asafoona intaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena ⁽⁵⁵⁾

Tafsir

" فلما آسفونا "، أغضبونا، " انتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم أجمعين "

Then, when they angered Me by continuing upon disbelief, I took retribution from them and drowned them all.
