وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَنْ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَائِهِمْ غَافِلُونَ
Waman adallu mimman yadAAoo min dooni Allahi man la yastajeebu lahu ila yawmi alqiyamati wahum AAan duAAaihim ghafiloona (5)
( ومن أضل ممن يدعو من دون الله من لا يستجيب له ) يعني الأصنام لا تجيب عابديها إلى شيء يسألونها ( إلى يوم القيامة ) أبدا ما دامت الدنيا ( وهم عن دعائهم غافلون ) لأنها جماد لا تسمع ولا تفهم .
And there is nobody more misguided than the one who worships an idol besides Allah which cannot respond to his call until the day of judgment. And these idols which they worship besides Allah are unaware of their slaves calling upon them, because they are inanimate and cannot hear, see or understand.
