وَإِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُوا لَهُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَكَانُوا بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَافِرِينَ
Waitha hushira alnnasu kanoo lahum aAAdaan wakanoo biAAibadatihim kafireena (6)
( وإذا حشر الناس كانوا لهم أعداء وكانوا بعبادتهم كافرين ) جاحدين ، بيانه قوله : " تبرأنا إليك ما كانوا إيانا يعبدون " ( القصص - 63 ) .
And alongside not benefiting them in the world, when they are raised on the Day of Judgment, they will be enemies to those who used to worship them and disassociate themselves from them, and they will deny having any knowledge of their worshipping them.
