ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

Thooqoo fitnatakum hatha allathee kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloona ⁽¹⁴⁾

Tafsir

( ذوقوا فتنتكم ) عذابكم ( هذا الذي كنتم به تستعجلون ) في الدنيا تكذيبا به .

It will be said to them: “Taste your punishment. This is what you used to mockingly ask for quickly when you used to be warned of it”.
