ذُو مِرَّةٍ فَاسْتَوَىٰ
Thoo mirratin faistawa (6)
( ذو مرة ) قوة وشدة في خلقه يعني جبريل . قال ابن عباس : ذو مرة يعني : ذو منظر حسن . وقال مقاتل : ذو خلق طويل حسن . ( فاستوى ) يعني : جبريل .
And Gabriel (peace be upon him) is of excellent form, so he rose up appearing to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in his form in which Allah created him.
