وَكَذَّبَ بِهِ قَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ ۚ قُلْ لَسْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِوَكِيلٍ
Wakaththaba bihi qawmuka wahuwa alhaqqu qul lastu AAalaykum biwakeelin (66)
( وكذب به قومك ) أي : بالقرآن ، وقيل : بالعذاب ، ( وهو الحق قل لست عليكم بوكيل ) برقيب ، وقيل : بمسلط ألزمكم الإسلام شئتم أو أبيتم ، إنما أنا رسول .
Your people have denied this Qur’ān, yet it is the truth about which there is no doubt that it is from Allah. Say to them, O Messenger: I am not responsible for your actions. I am only to warn you before a severe punishment.
