وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wahuwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alnnujooma litahtadoo biha fee thulumati albarri waalbahri qad fassalna alayati liqawmin yaAAlamoona (97)
قوله عز وجل : ( وهو الذي جعل لكم النجوم ) أي خلقها لكم ، ( لتهتدوا بها في ظلمات البر والبحر )
والله تعالى خلق النجوم لفوائد :
أحدها هذا : وهو أن [ راكب البحر ] والسائر في القفار يهتدي بها في الليالي إلى مقاصده .
والثاني : أنها زينة للسماء كما قال : " ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح " ( الملك ، 5 ) .
ومنها : رمي الشياطين ، كما قال : " وجعلناها رجوما للشياطين " ، ( الملك ، 5 ) .

He, may He be glorified, is the One who created for you, O children of Adam, the stars in the sky, so that you may be guided by them during your travels when the routes on the land and sea are unclear.
